Budget Billing makes your monthly electric bill more consistent throughout the year, helping to eliminate usage fluctuations from month to month.

How does Budget Billing work?

Your budget is calculated by averaging your previous 12 months of bills and dividing it into 12 equal payments. Click the button above to find your total recommended budget amount.

Every four months, we review your budget amount to adjust for usage patterns, rate changes and weather. As a result, your amount due may change.

Each year, we compare your actual energy costs to the amount you paid through Budget Billing. If there is a difference, it will be added to or deducted from your new budget amount and spread evenly over the next 12 months.
