Goal of Smart Comfort
The goal of Duquesne Light's Smart Comfort Program is to provide free usage reduction measures in an effort to lower your electric bill.

How to Qualify for Smart Comfort
  • The name on your account must be an adult (18 years of age or older) living in the household.
  • You must have continuous electric service at your current home for the previous 12 months.
  • You must plan to live at your current home for 12 months after receiving program services.
  • You have not received weatherization measures from Duquesne Light in the last 7 years.
  • Your monthly and/or household yearly income must fall within the Federal Income Guidelines.
  • Your monthly average usage must be greater than 600 kilowatt-hours (kWh).
  • Please refer to the Federal Income Guidelines on
    page 17 to see if you qualify for Smart Comfort.
