Duquesne Light

  • Why is my stock no longer listed on the NYSE?
As a result of the merger with the Macquarie Consortium, Duquesne Light de-listed and de-registered all preferred shares, which means that shares are no longer trading on an exchange and are no longer identified by their former symbols.
  • Is Duquesne Light going to call my shares?
To date, only the 4% preferred shares have been called. The company intends to continue to pay dividends, as scheduled, on all remaining preferred shares, subject to board-of-director approval.
  • How do I find the value of my stock?
The value of your shares is dependent on what price a buyer is willing to purchase your shares.
  • How do I sell my stock?
Preferred stock currently is trading broker to broker, or “between brokers,” which means that your broker will have to contact another broker to find a buyer.
  • My broker is not able to help me. What can I do?
You have the option of asking your broker to issue you a certificate and either holding your shares yourself or taking them to another broker.
  • Whom do I contact for additional information?
Wells Fargo Shareowner Services. As a result of the completion of the merger, the Duquesne Light Holdings Shareholder Relations Department closed on Sept. 14, 2007.
